HRCH
Chub Lake's Echo of Cody, better known as Echo, a 85lbs. black male defines
by action the definition of an Autrey Retriever. He has a great attitude and an
extremely high desire as a retriever. He's very trainable with an excellent willingness to please.

"It's a rare combination of drive, affection,
intelligence and personality that Echo has. Not sure how it all works, but he's
1 in 10,000."
- Justin Tackett, Host of Ducks Unlimited Waterdog and
Super Retriever Series on OLN
Echo's three generation pedigree contains 5 FC AFCs, 18
Grand passes, 1 NFC and 1 NAFC. He reaffirms this history every time he steps up
to the line. At 9 weeks of age, Echo was retrieving dead ducks and delivering to
hand. Mr. Autrey has reported Echo as one of the easiest dogs he's ever force
fetched.
Attaining his Hunting Retriever Championship (HRCH) title at 23
months and is currently running AKC Master Tests. Echo served as the 2006 World Retriever
Championship test dog.
"Drive, control, style and personality ... I've
hunted with Echo from South Dakota to south Arkansas and he embodies all of
this. An excellent marker with natural hunting ability and an overwhelming
desire to please."
- Clay Heitt, Firewater Lodge client

The past three years he has picked up over 700 duck a 200 + Pheasant, and 200 + Geese a year.
Echo has hunted from Saskatchewan to Louisiana. He can be in a corn field and watch thousand do mallards circle and be as steady as
a rock or be in Green timber in Arkansas an watch mallards drop through the trees. Echo has picker everything up from a Tundra Swan to a Dove, and he
loves them all the same. Echo is comfortable and able to hunt any situation you put him in.
He is an exceptional pheasant hunting dog quartering at a fast pace put holding tight to the hunters.
"The best thing about Echo is he is as comfortable hunting a pond in 20 degree weather
as he is laying on the couch eating ice cream. Like all Cody puppies his great attitude is
what makes him
a special dog."
